Developing silhouettes that are trend right is my focus.  I think through fabric and trims as I'm creating these silhouettes.  As i do this, I also have a point of view for creating prints, graphics, fabrics and colors that are appropriate for each age, demographic, and brand.

It's always important to have general price of a garment top of mind.

No matter what I'm designing, it's the marriage of design, fabric, silhouette, print & graphic, as well as a general understanding of cost to make a design trend right and profitable both.   Detailed callouts help to get a sample that is closer to my initial vision.
